No. Attendees open a link or scan a code and listen in their phone's browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
Not for the audience. They listen on their own phones in the browser — no receivers, no headsets to hand out. The room itself can add a Koine Station: a tablet paired once to that room, with its stand, for NOK 5,000 (USD 500 / EUR 459) excluding VAT, paid once. Wireless headsets for conversations around a table are NOK 2,500 (USD 250 / EUR 229) each and a room microphone NOK 1,500 (USD 150 / EUR 138), also paid once.
Up to three on Lite and Standard, up to eight on Pro and event passes, and up to 20 per room on Campus, with higher limits available for large events on request.
Translation runs on our servers with provider keys held server-side. Audio is processed per session and is not stored by default; recordings are created only when you enable them.
