Every student can follow the lesson, in their language.
A tablet at the front of the classroom, students on their own phones or school iPads, and lessons, assemblies and parent evenings translated live.

Follow the lesson as it happens
Newcomer students hear and read the lesson in their own language, in real time, without being pulled out of class.
Reach the whole hall
One feed from the stage reaches every phone in the room — and handles right-to-left languages such as Arabic and scripts beyond the Latin alphabet.
Bring families into the conversation
Parents who don't share the school's main language follow the parent evening on their own phones.
A reading mode for each student, chosen by the teacher.
Original and translation, side by side
The student reads the teacher's words and the translation together.
The translation waits until it is needed
The original shows; the translation stays hidden until the student reveals it for a line they did not get.
Changed by the teacher, per student
A student taps Connect to teacher, and the teacher can change that one student's mode from the front.
Ready before the teacher is.
Koine Station is a tablet paired once to the classroom. It keeps the room's permanent QR code on the wall and needs one tap to start. After the parent evening, the same tablet lies flat between you and each side reads the other in its own language.
Nothing for students to carry.
Pair the tablet to the classroom
From the school's console — or, for a one-off, run it from a laptop.
Students scan the room code
On their own phones or school iPads, in the browser. The code on the wall works every day.
Teach as normal
The lesson translates live, and the school chooses whether a transcript is saved for review.
The answers a privacy assessment needs, up front.
In the EU, apart from the AI providers we name
Live audio is relayed through our servers in Amsterdam, and accounts are stored in Stockholm. Speech recognition and translation are done by OpenAI and Google, which may process them outside the EU.
As little as you decide
Set a lesson to temporary and no transcript line is ever written to our database. Recording is a separate switch, off by default.
Nobody has to sign in
Students join a lesson without an account. Feide sign-in, for lessons a school wants to restrict, is being prepared and is not available yet.
Input for your own assessment
We provide a processing overview and a sub-processor list for the municipality's own assessment. Read the privacy policy, or ask us for the pack.
